Along the roadside stand the roadside shrines dedicated to the guardian deities, and the Dainichi Hall enshrining the Great Sun Buddha. The statue of the Great Sun Buddha within the hall is renowned as an exceptional Buddhist image, conveying the depth of local faith to this day.
