Origami "Chain Cranes" Experience
Would you like to fold the traditional origami "Ren-tsuru" passed down since the Edo period?
This workshop offers an easy-to-enjoy experience with the traditional Edo-period origami "Ren-tsuru" (Chain Cranes). Participants will learn the relatively straightforward folding method for the "Imoseyama" crane, one of 48 variations
. From a single sheet of Japanese paper
, without cutting or later gluing, two cranes of different colors are created joined together.
