Mukuge-an, a Japanese cultural experience studio just a 5-minute walk from Matsumoto Castle, offers a moment to connect with Japanese traditions. Choose from tea ceremony, koto, calligraphy, Noh theater, or origami experiences. Enjoy a peaceful, memorable time feeling the depth of traditional culture, even on days when outdoor sightseeing is difficult during spring, summer, autumn, or winter.

■Koto – Play the traditional Japanese melody "Sakura Sakura," culminating in an ensemble to enjoy the resonance of sound.
■ Noh Theater – Watch the dance "Hagoromo," then practice dance movements and chant "Senkyūraku."
■ Calligraphy – Use a brush to write your favorite phrase on colored paper, completing it as a finished piece.
■ Origami – Choose your preferred shape from samples and create a beautiful origami work.
