Matsumoto Temari Workshop: “Cherry Blossoms and the Alps”

Temari made with our store’s original Shinshu plant-dyed yarn

☆We’ll hold the workshop on your desired date and time for groups of 2 or more (if you’re participating alone, you can still join by paying the fee for two people)☆

You’ll embroider patterns inspired by the cherry blossoms and Alpine scenery of Matsumoto, Shinshu, onto a pre-prepared base. This is an authentic Matsumoto temari-making workshop.

We use plant-dyed thread made from plants native to Shinshu and Matsumoto.

Choose your favorite colors to create a one-of-a-kind, original temari.

A case for taking your temari home is included.

*Open to middle school students and older.
