First-Time Temari Experience: "Make a Temari Keychain"

Temari made with our shop’s original Shinshu plant-dyed yarn

☆We’ll hold the workshop on your preferred date and time for groups of 3 or more (if you’re participating as a group of 1 or 2, you can join by paying the fee for 3 people)☆

Fill a bag with rice husks, then wrap and wind it with thread dyed using plants from Shinshu to create a round temari base with a circumference of 13 cm. Finish the completed temari with a wrapping stitch to turn it into your own original keychain or strap. This workshop is highly recommended for beginners.

Choosing from dozens of types of plant-dyed threads is part of the fun.

*Since needles and scissors will be used, children in 4th grade or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
