Summer Festival: Matsumoto Bonbon
The “Matsumoto Bonbon” is a summer festival held in Matsumoto. It takes place every year on the first Saturday of August in the downtown area stretching from the east side of Matsumoto Station to Matsumoto Castle.
With the theme, “Let’s fill this castle town—a village in the Alps that cherishes its history—with the songs and dances of the Matsumoto Bonbon!!,” it is beloved as a hallmark of summer in Matsumoto.
◎ Crowds are expected on the day of the event, so please refrain from driving your own car.
◎ Please take your trash home with you.
◎ Please refrain from riding bicycles within the pedestrian-only zone.
◎ Please refrain from illegal parking or bicycle parking.
◎ Bringing, operating, or flying unmanned aircraft (such as drones) is strictly prohibited.
◎Please take adequate measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases by referring to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare website.
