on the history of mountain hot springs Founded in 1915 (Taisho 4), Nakanoyu Hot Spring Inn is a solitary inn nestled in the mountains.Relocated to its current
location midway through the Awa Pass in 1998 due to a steam explosion caused by Awa Tunnel construction, it offers stunning views of the Hotaka Mountain Range and serves as a convenient base for climbers tackling the Nakano-yu route up Yakedake. The magnificent natural scenery visible through the lobby's large windows is overwhelmingly powerful, even for non-mountaineers.
