Kamikochi Visitor Center is an information hub for understanding Kamikochi's nature, located about 100 meters along the left bank of the Azusa River from the foot of Kappa
Bridge. Stepping inside reveals a warm space generously furnished with wood. Materials and photographs about Kamikochi's nature are neatly displayed, revealing the secrets of this place.Through video screenings and lectures, you'll see Kamikochi's changing expressions throughout the seasons and the natural processes thriving there. Your understanding
of the mountain plants and creatures will also deepen. It's a place to encounter the profound depths of Kamikochi. Please be sure to stop by the Visitor Center.

- Approximately 50 minutes by car from Matsumoto IC to Sawando Bus Terminal. Transfer to a shuttle bus or taxi for about 30 minutes. Get off at "Kamikochi Bus Terminal" and walk for about 8 minutes.

- From Matsumoto Station, take the Matsumoto Dentetsu Kamikochi Line to Shinshima Station (approx. 30 min ride) → Transfer at Shinshima Station to the shuttle bus (reservation required) or taxi to Kamikochi Bus Terminal (approx. 60 min ride), then walk 8 minutes.
