The Famous Waterfalls of Norikura: Three Waterfalls in a Row
Located in a forest at the foot of Mount Norikura, at an elevation of approximately 1,800 meters, this waterfall features three streams originating from different sources that converge here, creating a rare sight where visitors can view all three waterfalls at once. Each waterfall has a drop of about 50 to 60 meters, and the way the water cascades down the rock faces varies from one to the next. Designated as a Place of Scenic Beauty in Nagano Prefecture, it has also been selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Waterfalls. Accessible via a walking trail, it is one of the most iconic scenic spots in the Norikura Highlands.
