Kamikochi Myojinkan

Three kilometers beyond the bus stop lies the heart of Kamikochi. A solitary lodge in the wild.

The crossroads at Myojin-no-Yakata. The broad flatland is omitted; focus on Myojin. Mountains rising 45 degrees overhead. Azusa River, forests, alpine plant zones, springs, ponds, wild birds, etc.The natural environment outside the lodge is best from before breakfast until around noon. During the operating season, the sights change moment by moment every day. While

an outdoor-oriented inn, the facilities are well-equipped. The area is protected and managed simultaneously

yet separately by four major national ministries. This is a no-vehicle zone

. Please come with a backpack. At minimum, bring a change of clothes and rain gear. Poor

weather during your stay often leads to more breathtaking moments the next morning. Mountain

sunrises, morning mist over ponds, the Azusa River at dawn, starry skies, summer retreats, diverse wild birds, clusters of twinflower, fresh greenery, autumn foliage. As a base for exploring the surroundings and mountain climbing, what discoveries will you make?
