My apologies for posting this late. Sunday July 23rd was the second-half of the 20th annual Taiko matsuri at the castle. As with the previous evening, the quality of the drumming was excellent and the pace relentless. “Boys night” produced an act after act of thoroughly well-drilled & choreographed groups from all over the country, displaying power hitting and fitness levels that’d make a triathlete blush, and a finale that’d take some beating from a hard core group Zipang.

I think the guys at the city office who organised this event are on the right track; can’t wait to see what next year’s installment will have in store for us!
