Kubota Kōho Memorial Museum Special Exhibition: "Unraveling the Past"

Upon seeing a hanging scroll by the poet Tachibana Shōran, Sorao remarked, “A piece’s history lends it a certain charm.”

"Yukashii" is an archaic term meaning "to be captivating."

This exhibition explores the provenance of items formerly owned by Kūho and materials acquired in recent years, inviting visitors to discover the “charm” they possess.

We hope you will come and see it.
