Special Exhibition: "Hina Matsuri in a Samurai Residence"
In keeping with the late arrival of spring in the Matsumoto region, the Takahashi family apparently celebrated Hina Matsuri on April 3rd.
They set up a display stand in the inner room and decorated it with the Hina dolls passed down through generations. In addition to the seated dolls, they also displayed Oshie Hina dolls, which were once widely produced in Matsumoto.
For this exhibition, we have borrowed the Hina dolls that have been carefully preserved and passed down through the Takahashi family.
Please come and see these Hina dolls, which add a touch of warmth and elegance to this samurai residence.
