Tidy but cozy, the Healthy Penguin Cafe offers delicious vegan options, which are hard to find in outside of the big cities. The cafe was opened this past December by a friendly local couple.
I enjoyed a delicious coconut yellow curry with quinoa.
They are open for brunch, and while they close at 5 p.m. on weekdays, they are open until 7 p.m. on weekends. Their menu includes french toast, cakes, rice dishes, coffee, smoothies, and more. There is limited seating (about 13 seats at tables plus one area with floor seating), so peak times may be crowded.
