Shamisen Geiyukan is a small hall, where you can enjoy shamisen music and hauta songs. Hauta are short Japanese traditional songs or ballads from the Edo Period (1603-1867), sung to the accompaniment of the shamisen. Some are slow and romantic, others are fast and witty with lively shamisen music.

You can also try playing the shamisen yourself! Shamisen Geiyukan is featured in Michelin Green Guide Japan (Michelin Travel Guide).
