A cultural hub for enjoying performing arts
This cultural facility features a large hall with a variable seating capacity of 750 to 1,800, a small hall with 288 seats, and an experimental theater with 360 seats, accommodating diverse performances.Designed by world-renowned architect Toyo Ito, its exterior features a mottled pattern created by embedding over 20,000 glass panels, softly capturing light and presenting different expressions day and night. The rooftop lawn plaza allows visitors to relax while taking in the cityscape and sky of Matsumoto. It serves as a hub for creativity and exchange, also hosting high-quality performances like the "Matsumoto Grand Kabuki."
