【About Half-Bow】 "Half-Bow ranges" were said to exist throughout Japan during the Meiji era
. At "Matsumoto Half-Bow,
" we use bows slightly shorter than traditional Kyudo bows (approx. 180cm/6'3") to shoot 10 arrows at a target 7m/22ft away, competing for points.
The center black dot is worth 10 points, with outer rings scoring 8, 5, and 3 points respectively
. This range uses bows traditionally employed in Yabusame (horseback archery).
