This is the last year we'll see a Christmas Tree in front of Parco

People around me are saying that this is the last year we’ll see a Christmas Tree in front of Parco, and everyone is sad about it.
This is because these are the last months of Parco, which used to be the biggest mall in Matsumoto city, and people got really attached to it.

Everyone recommended to go check out the tree so that is what I did.

It is strange to think that a mall is something people grow attached to, but Parco has been here for 40 years and people got used to seeing it.

It’s strange to think we will no longer see this building, and the athmosphere of the Hanadokei Park will probably change a little, too.

It’s Christmas Eve in Matsumoto, even if most people are still working everyone is holding small parties to eat cake and fried chicken.
Because Japan is not a catholic country, this is mainly a friendly celebration, and an occasion to enjoy delicious food.

Facing the end of the year there are a lot of things to do. We are expecting a cold New Year’s Eve so stay warm!
Happy New Year!
