Calling all craft beer fans! The Craft Beer Festival in Matsumoto is coming September 14th through 17th (along weekend!) and will be held at the park around Matsumoto Castle. At least 60 types of beers, mostly from Nagano, will be available so don’t miss it!

Foodies will also rejoice because the Shinshu Food Fair will be held right along with the beer fest.

Entrance is free so you can come and enjoy one drink or as many as you like—pay just for what you drink! Kids are welcome and there are soft drinks, sweets, and of course, food available as well.

All beers cost ¥550 per glass, but if you plan on drinking at least 5 glasses, you can get a set of 5 drink tickets and a limited edition glass for ¥3,000. (pre-ordered ticket sets available at a discounted price of ¥2,700 here [Japanese only]).

Best of all, you get to enjoy your delicious beer and food directly in front of the beautiful Matsumoto Castle! Cheers!
