国宝松本城を舞台に、全国各地から集まった団体による太鼓演奏が2日間にわたり開催されます。熱気あふれる演奏と力と技から生み出される空気の鼓動を全身で感じてください。

【第37回国宝松本城太鼓まつりプロゲストのご紹介】

　鬼太鼓座（おんでこざ）

鬼太鼓座（おんでこざ）は1969年、亡き田耕（でん・たがやす）代表の構想のもとに集まった若者達により佐渡で結成。 その活動の根源にあるのが、「走ることと音楽とは一体であり、それは人生のドラマとエネルギーの反映だ」という「走楽論」である。
1975年、アメリカのボストンマラソン完走後、そのまま舞台に駆け登り、三尺八寸の大太鼓を演奏するという衝撃的なデビューを飾る。小沢征爾指揮のボストン交響楽団との共演などもはさみ、世界各地にて活動開始。

2001年より「越後妻有大地の芸術祭」、「瀬戸内芸術祭」「能登芸術祭」等、音楽だけではなく、現代芸術や自然との共生をテーマにした活動も行う。

ONDEKOZA

On the island of Sado in 1969, a group of young men and women gathered to realize founder Den Tagayasu’s vision and live by the principle of “Sougakuron” – that “running and drumming are one, and a reflection of the drama and energy of life.”

In 1975,ONDEKOZA made its dramatic debut in Boston, USA, whereupon completing the Boston Marathon, the members ran up on stage and performed on their 350 kg “Odaiko” drum.

From there, Ondekoza continued to tour internationally, appearing on stage with notable artists such as acclaimed conductor Seiji Ozawa of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Ondekoza’s performances were met with exceptional reviews around the world.

Since 2001, we have been involved in activities such as the Echigo-Tsumari Earth Art Festival, the Setouchi Art Festival, and the Noto Art Festival, not only in music, but also on the theme of contemporary art and coexistence with nature
