Approximately a 5-minute walk to Matsumoto Castle, a National Treasure. A long-established hotel founded in 1887. Matsumoto folk art furniture adorns the interior and some guest rooms, allowing you to enjoy spaces and furnishings imbued with folk art sensibilities. The concept

is "Folk Art Philosophy: Memories of Everyday Life in Matsumoto." Drinking water throughout

the hotel and the large bath utilize spring water sourced from melted snow in the Alps. Please spend a moment here to soothe your weary spirit.

The main dining venue is the restaurant "I;caza [ikaza]". Its name derives from a phrase rooted in Nagano's history and culture, meaning "Let's go!". Guided by the

concept of "Nagano Terroir", we prepare dishes that "allow" the ingredients born from the Shinshu land to shine. We offer French or Japanese course meals.

For breakfast, we offer a Japanese-style obanzai buffet featuring Shinshu ingredients. Enjoy our original beef curry and vegetables abundantly harvested in the Matsumoto Plain. Several types of 100% Shinshu fruit juice are available.
