I-Net Yamabiko Dome

A large dome hosting multipurpose sports and events

This large wooden dome was built in 1993 as the main venue for the Shinshu Exposition. Inside the roof, large arches made of Shinshu-grown larch and small beams crafted from thinned cedar are skillfully assembled, creating a space filled with the warmth of wood and a spacious, open atmosphere.

The floor accommodates diverse sports like soccer, futsal, and basketball, complete with spectator seating. It hosts regional sports tournaments and events, while offering year-round indoor comfort for enjoying sports viewing and activities with family and friends. This facility seamlessly integrates the beauty and functionality of timber construction.
