Gomado Hall Fudo Waterfall
A sacred waterfall where icefalls appear in winter
Under the watchful eye of Fudō Myōō, clear water cascades down the rock face. Nestled deep within Asama Onsen, Fudō Falls is a place filled with a sacred atmosphere that feels like a cleansing for the soul.Though small in scale, its presence is dignified, creating an atmosphere perfectly suited for quiet prayer.
Especially during the harsh winter cold, the waterfall freezes, sometimes offering a mystical sight where ice formations intertwine with the image of Fudō Myōō. The view from the small shrine above the waterfall is also exceptional. It's a hidden gem worth taking a slight detour to visit while strolling through the hot spring town.
