The authentic croissants, baked every morning, can be taken out, but they often sell out early in the morning.
The café’s name, Bouquetin, comes from the French word for a type of goat, called the steinbock, that lives in the French Alps. They seem to have settled on the name, as goats can also be found in Matsumoto.
