An Evening Walk in Matsumoto: Matsumoto in March
Dear Matsumoto fans,
how are you doing?
Today I want to tell you about March in Matsumoto.
Rather than the beginning of spring, March is more similar to the “tail of winter”. When you think temperatures have finally gone up and become milder, they lower again and there can be sudden snow.
In fact, as far as I can remember, it has snown every March for the past few years.
Mostly, the city is calm without any particular events, preparing to be lively again in April, with the blooming of cherry trees.
Last evening, I went out for a walk trying to think about what I can share with you about Matsumoto in March. The answer is: taking an evening walk in Nawate street!
Here are some pictures!
Finally I decided to enter in this small cafe for some refreshments!
This cafe is quite popular because it is right on the road that eventually connects the station to the castle.
There is an enjoyable atmosphere, and you can see the cakes on display from outside!
I think this is a suitable stop if you need to work remotely, as there is free wifi available, the tables are big and the chairs are comfortable.
Concourse Cafe (this is the name), offers lunch options, cocktails, coffee and tea, parfaits, cakes, pasta plates, and more.
The best part is the view from the shop window:
From the window you can observe one of the main roads of the city.
