Hello Matsumoto fans!

The other day I visited Bocca, which is a small cafe in the Fukashi area.
It’s not a typical Matsumoto restaurant, however it does have a lovely atmosphere to it that I would consider slightly Showa Retro.

The thing that I instantly liked about this place is that it was entirely filled with nice women chatting over their coffee. They were talking even across table and that made me think that they attend the cafe often.
I also had a lovely chat with them, they made me feel welcome and I was so happy to be there! 

The owner is an adorable elder lady who cooks everything on the spot.
Set meals include Napolitan and Udon, but you can also choose toast or parfait like in every self respecting kissaten.

It was yummy!

The lady took out cake for everyone too!

As you know by now, places with a lovely atmosphere where you can just sit and enjoy are one of my favorite things about this city.

If you are nearby I would recommend taking a break at Bocca!
