"Paintings and Words" Exhibition: "The Resonance of Emptiness"
Following the exhibition in June, an exhibition of pastel paintings and poetry by Keiko Tateishi will be held.
The “Gondola Pastel” series, which she began during the COVID-19 pandemic, consists of works filled with gentle colors and a soothing atmosphere, centered on the theme of “landscapes of the mind” that suddenly emerge in everyday life.
For this exhibition, as part of a long-planned project, Ms. Tateishi will be exhibiting under the pen name she has used since junior high school and the artist name derived from it.
The artist herself is scheduled to be present at the gallery every day during the exhibition.
Please take your time and enjoy the exhibition 🏠

<Artist Profile>
Marino Arisawa
Pastel artist. Based in Nagano Prefecture.
With “white space” at the core of her work, she creates a serene atmosphere within her canvases through the soft texture of pastel pigments and the interplay of light.
“White space” quietly resides within each of us. It is a place where something new is born, and it serves as a window connecting the world outside to the self.
She explores a world of art where viewers can pause for a moment and rediscover their inner sense of openness.
Ruhaku Arisawa
Poetry and Prose.
Drawing from the same inner wellspring as painting, these quiet scenes and introspective voices emerge not through color, but through the form of words.
Like water flowing into the reader’s heart, they gently scoop up the faint breath of life within the silence and unfold it.
