As an event organized by Plogging Japan,

Last year’s inaugural “Matsumoto Plogging” event

This year’s second edition takes place at Matsumoto Castle‼️

Matsumoto City is known as the “City of Spring Water,” with beautiful spring water flowing throughout the city.

We’ll split into two groups—one for walking and one for a leisurely jog—to go plogging while exploring the spring water,

and let’s return to Matsumoto Castle with huge smiles on our faces‼️

Leisurely Run Course: Jog at a relaxed pace—fast enough to chat—while plogging.

Walking Course: Enjoy a leisurely stroll around Matsumoto Castle while plogging. Families with children are welcome to join us with ease and peace of mind.

Date and Time: Saturday, August 8, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Registration begins at 3:30 PM)

Attire: Comfortable workout clothes

What to Bring: Work gloves, water, a towel, etc.

3:30 PM Registration begins

4:00 PM Event begins (warm-up exercises, lecture, self-introductions)

4:30 PM Plogging begins (Participants split into groups to tour the spring water sites)

5:30 PM Plogging ends (Trash count and group photo)

6:00 p.m. Event ends

Important Notes

• In case of cancellation: We will notify registered participants via email and through Plogging Japan’s social media channels.
• ︎Regarding Luggage and Changing Rooms: There are no changing rooms. A luggage storage area will be provided, but please keep an eye on your own valuables.
• For participants with children: Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring the safety of their children.
• ︎ Photography and Videography on the Day of the Event: Staff will be taking photos and videos of the event. These photos may be used on various social media platforms and in the media. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let a staff member know on the day of the event.
