Seasonal Exhibition: "The Veranda Where Tanabata Dolls Sway"
We will display the "Tanabata dolls," a hallmark of Matsumoto's Tanabata festival, on the veranda of a traditional Japanese house.
Please enjoy the unique Tanabata atmosphere of Matsumoto.
We also have a corner where you can write down your wishes on tanzaku strips, as well as
as well as a corner where you can make your own mini Tanabata dolls.
During the event, the "Nakamon" gate, which is usually closed, will be open.
Please enjoy the view of the "veranda with swaying Tanabata dolls" from the "courtyard."
Furthermore, with the permission of the current head of the family,
we will be offering a special public viewing of the “Retired Master’s Quarters” and “Tea Room,” which are normally closed to the public.
Please enjoy the "Retired Master's Quarters" and "Tea Room" of the 12th generation, who once enjoyed great prosperity.
