Fujimura
Fujimura’s showcase

Established in 1938, this traditional Japanese confectionery is a family owned business now under its 3rd generation owner. Fujimura is popular among Matsumoto locals and makes not only Japanese sweets, but also cookies, baked sweet potatoes, and other western-inspired treats.

Fujimura’s sakura mochi (cherry blossom mochi with red bean paste) is the perfect snack for the spring and their popular sakamanju, a steamed bun made with local sake and red bean paste) is another delicious choice.
