Your Chance To Become a Samurai After Visiting the Castle
Immerse yourself in the history of Matsumoto Castle by becoming a samurai! To truly act as a samurai, you must first look the part, and you’ll do just that as you select your own accessories, including a “yukata” (light kimono), a “hakama” (wide trousers), and an “obi” (belt). You then choose your own “katana” (sword) before a samurai master instructs you on the basics of sword-fighting techniques. With plenty of opportunities to take photographs, this experience is one of our most popular and promises to be a true highlight of your time in Japan!
