Located at an elevation of 1,200 meters on the Nagawa Plateau in the western part of the city, Takasome Campground is an auto campsite embraced by nature, surrounded by birch forests. The clear
blue sky reflected in the large pond, the rustling sound of birch leaves swaying in the wind. The seasonal views from the lakeside campsites calm and soothe the soul.Nighttime offers perfect stargazing, where a blanket of stars envelops your mind, connecting you to the mysteries of the universe. From late April to early May, the skunk cabbage blooming around the pond is at its best.
Tired bodies can be soothed at the hot springs, just a 10-minute drive away. Spend a special day on the Nagawa Plateau, enveloped by birch forests and moments of relaxation.
