Enjoy local Shinshu cuisine made with carefully selected seasonal ingredients at reasonable prices. In spring, the owner personally forages mountain vegetables such as butterbur sprouts, tara buds, and bracken—rarely found on the market. Summer brings wild mushrooms, autumn features matsutake and a variety of seasonal fungi, and in winter, Shinshu game such as venison, bear, wild boar, and rabbit is available. Solo diners are also welcome with menu options for one. A wide selection of local sake and rare Shinshu wines is also offered.
