Akira Kusaka Solo Exhibition “Echoes”
Akira Kusaka creates quiet, beautiful illustrations that seem to capture a single scene from a story. As you gaze at her works, you can almost sense the sounds, the temperature of the air, and even the faint scents that drift through the scene; memories naturally come flooding back, and each person’s story quietly unfolds within your heart.
The title of this exhibition is “Echoes.” It embodies the hope that, through these works, visitors will gently retrace the atmosphere and emotions of that day while overlaying their own memories upon them.
The venue will feature giclée prints—a mix of new and older works that gently touch the depths of your memory—as well as a selection of lifestyle goods that allow you to enjoy Ms. Kusaka’s world in your daily life. Additionally, a new item—a saddle-stitched notebook created in collaboration with Tegami-sha—will be introduced for this exhibition.
May the works on display become pieces that gently accompany your cherished memories. Please take your time and fully immerse yourself in the rich world depicted by Akira Kusaka.
