OMF Chamber Music Workshop – Woodwind Ensemble –
The Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival is dedicated to the education of young musicians—one of the founding principles of its founder, Seiji Ozawa—and has been holding workshops in the Okushiga Highlands of Nagano Prefecture for over 30 years. This year, we will host the “OMF Chamber Music Workshop: Woodwind Ensemble” in the Okushiga Highlands.Members of the Saito Kinen Orchestra will serve as instructors, leading intensive ensemble lessons centered on woodwind octets in a residential workshop format. Participants will showcase the results of their training in both Okushiga Highlands and Matsumoto as practical performance opportunities.
